Deadline: URGENT Responsibilities: · Develop and implement long term brand building strategy to maximize brand equity · Develop and implement annual brand plan to achieve long-term goal · Estimating and establishing cost parameters, budgets, campaigns, and potential ROI · Prepare monthly, quarterly and half yearly progress report of the brand activity · Prepare effective Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) activities · Monitor the delivery of ATL (Above-the-Line) & BTL (Below-the-Line) campaigns · Collaborate with all media in a systematic manner, ensuring cost effective implementation across all appropriate communication channels and tools · Supervise all outdoor activity, trade marketing (POSM) & BTL activity · Supervise all event and activation and measure effectiveness against goal · Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the management · Supervise all different brand material design & production (leaflet, brochure etc) · Supervise different types of gifts Item procurement & distribution for mason, retailer, dealer, engineer, high officials, top level engineers, sponsorship etc. (targeted group wise) · Evaluate sponsorship proposal and ensure company should get proper mileage out of it maintaining compliance · Support the channel sales teams through events, sales collaterals, news-letters etc · Work closely with the external media to maintain liaison for PR activity and ensure positive image of the brand among the external stake holders and customers Requirements: · Education: Minimum bachelor preferably in Business Administration · Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience · Fluent in Business Communication · Experience managing and leading a team required · A team player with strong interpersonal skills · High level of organization with a structured, methodical way of working Please note Share your updated resume at [email protected] , [email protected] Mention applied position in email subject Special Mention: · Any personal persuasion/phone-call will result in disqualification of candidature. Cricket and The Law of Observation Applied To Pharma Branding First let me make an honest confession. The pharma world perceives me as a ‘brand guru’ or something like that. BUT I AM NOT! CERTAINLY NOT! Yes, but I am a keen observer, or rather a very keen observer, and convert my observations into learning’s for pharma brand managers and sales managers. I notice things other people miss. Do you recall the ‘The Invisible Gorilla’ effects? Even things right in front of can be missed or overlooked if you have not focused on them. I observe B-school students, greenhorn brand managers, the veteran brand gurus, and then share with you. And once such observation (at the risk of being called an anti-national) is that India WILL NOT WIN the ongoing ICC World Cup Cricket. My observation of the last 50 years prompts me to forecast India’s chances Any game, any sport, any tournament, anywhere in this world the pattern is the same. The team which tops the preliminary rounds of the tournament is never the ultimate winner! So the lesson for you - become a good observer, an aggressive and a keen observer and YOU WILL BECOME AN EXCELLENT BRAND MANAGER. And your brand plan forecasting will be far better Good luck!
