End of the year is the time for summaries. Therefore, we’ve prepared a set of posts showcasing the impact of Profitroom’s products on our hotels. Let’s start with the most important indicator in any industry—revenue! 💰💰💰 While we’re at it, let’s check ADR for direct vs OTA bookings, average booking value and length of stay - all of these having a direct impact on hotels’ revenue. At the same time, we’ll verify if Profitroom solutions have any influence on our hotels’ reservations and if prioritizing direct bookings is a strategic move for hotels. Reservations value YoY: ⬆️ Direct Revenue is up by 38% in comparison to last year ⬆️ OTA revenue is up by 30.7% in comparison to last year ADR (Average Daily Rate) in Direct vs. OTA ⬆️ Direct ADR is 73% higher than the ADR of reservations booked via OTA Average Booking Value (Including Upsell) ⬆️ Direct ABV soars to new heights, being 121% higher than the ABV of reservations booked via OTA Length of Stay (LOS) Comparison ⬆️ Direct LOS outshines OTA LOS by a significant margin, boasting a 30% increase. ⬆️ Guests booking directly tend to stay longer, with an average length of stay of 2.5 nights, compared to 1.9 nights for those booking via OTA. The statistics speak for themselves—hotels that prioritize and encourage direct bookings tend to gain significantly in terms of revenue growth.
