Our Event at Gaucho: Inspiring, Engaging and Fun What a wonderful evening shared with hospitality industry leaders, bringing great insights on business, people and guest engagement. The highlights for me: Martin Williams story about reimagining the GAUCHO brand proposition and team engagement, staff signing up to a clear purpose and value set. William Connors insights on implementing technology with simplicity and the user at the centre of any project— reflects the reality that more than 30% of tech projects fail due to poor user adoption. Lee Barnes and Charles Gray talking so openly about the need to do a human sense check when using AI in client engagement activities— loved the proof points provided on guest behaviours, particularly the fact that our attempts to create silos of behaviours does not match the randomness of consumer behaviour—better to accept this in our marketing programs.
