🤔 Evaluation is a vital part of the research process, allowing you to measure results against intended project outcomes. Led by Marcus Green, Optum the next South West London Research Support Network cafe will focus on insights and tips to help you evaluate your research. “Planning and carrying out your evaluation effectively is as important as the intervention you are delivering. One should not exist without the other." "In this workshop, we will introduce a straightforward and practical approach to evaluating your intervention. With increasingly constrained resources, there has never been a better time to rapidly evaluate and know you’re targeting your efforts to best effect for the populations you serve.” Secure your spot 👉 https://ow.ly/hXF950SWFXF #Research #Evaluation #Process

Manjekah Dunn Rachel Skoss Can I suggest you then check out #EasyEnglish It makes a more significant difference for people with low literacy. This is a recent blog on these differences, which have been known for 19 years. https://lnkd.in/gMFGuErC There are many of our other blogs on this issue. Easy English was developed because Easy Read is far too complex (Average grade 6.5 reading skills required) for people who really do have low literacy. Easy Englsih requires an average of Grade 1.5 reading skills. You can also read our research, some of which I have presented nationally and internationally on this issue here. https://lnkd.in/d_73tz8a We have completed a number of research papers in Easy English, including one from eSafety Commissioner and another from NSW Audit Office. https://lnkd.in/ghiTU2D7 There are more on the way.
I haven't seen an Easy Read version of a systematic review provided as a supplement before. If there are others, please point me to them. My congratulations to Manjekah Dunn (and colleagues) from the GeneEQUAL study for providing a terrific example of making research accessible. The two co-researchers' involvement adds value for us all.
