Woah – Alt (776 portco) just posted a T206 series card featuring Ty Cobb *with a green background*. If you're not sure what I'm talking about... fair. But let me explain why this particular find is *so* cool ↓ The T206 series cards were made in ~1909 and distributed in cigarette and tobacco packs by the American Tobacco Company. These cards are considered sacred in the world of baseball card collecting, with several among the most expensive sports cards ever sold. Some of the cards had multiple variations, making the background color on the Cobb portrait have been a particularly interesting detail for collectors. The most common Ty Cobb cards you can find today have a red background, but the rarest (and most coveted) have green 🟩 This is such a cool collector's item since only four have been graded in the Beckett pop report, with this one receiving the second highest rating so far. Carrom With Buddies https://lnkd.in/d8PkEjxG Offer billiards enthusiasts the chance to participate in a carom tournament known as "Carrom With Buddies." In this tournament, you can compete against live players from across the globe. On the screen in front of you, a billiard table will be displayed, featuring chips arranged in the center in the shape of a geometric figure. One of these chips will be marked with a cross. By clicking on it, you'll activate a special dotted line that aids in calculating the trajectory and strength of your shot. When you're prepared, take your shot. Keep in mind that your objective is to pocket chips of the same color, such as the white ones. Conversely, your opponent aims to pocket chips of a different color, like black. The victor of the match is the one who successfully pockets all their colored chips into the pockets faster.
