It was a pleasure to be on SiliconANGLE & theCUBE #mwc2024 broadcast today with David Vellante and John Furrier. We had a frank conversation around new technologies and the needs of enterprises. Some key points we discussed: Connectivity is the bedrock; it’s the foundational layer of “Maslow’s hierarchy of need for enterprises.” It enables technologies like AI and unlocks their potential. The debate between 5G and WiFi is misguided. Enterprises prefer strategies that are agnostic to the underlying technology. Their focus is on providing infinite connectivity - securely connecting people, application and devices no matter they are - within the confines of their resources. AI is the topic d’jour. The ARC Framework (https://bit.ly/ARCTheory) is a practical way to wrap our heads around the overwhelming around of hype around this topic. A clear ROI, with a balance between augmentation and creation use cases can provide a sustainable way to invest in AI. https://lnkd.in/dthX-gDK Extreme Networks #enterprisetech #5g #ai #connectivity #thecube

Great to catchup on all #MWC24 videos from #theCUBE this week. This morning it was Nabil Bukhari from Extreme Networks. Nabil clearly understands the need for ubiquitous or as he refers to it as #infiniteconnectivity in highly distributed environments. He offers some great advice on ensuring #ROI on AI for networking projects by ensuring that organizations look beyond the #augmentation benefits #AI can provide to operations teams to find the value in #creating new services that leverage and monetize the data that is collected. Check out some of the examples he provides in the video below. David Vellante, John Furrier, SiliconANGLE & theCUBE, Steve O'Brien, Stan Kovler, Monica Kumar https://lnkd.in/em2FYKdK
