io.net is building the largest decentralized compute network for AI and is partnering with networks like Filecoin, Render Network, and Gaimin to build a “DePIN of DePINs.” By partnering with other DePINs, io.net users can deploy on-demand clusters using io.net’s network of over 300,000 GPUs and access the capacity in io.net partner networks. AI/ML engineers that use io.net now have access to more options than ever before for low cost and flexible on-demand compute.

[ IO.net 24/3/27 Core-Suppoters AMA summary From - '정남일기' https://t.me/Jeongnam2 ] Scalability and team direction - We are currently aware that there are various problems and bugs in the Worker page UI, and it will be updated to v2 after April 28th so there will be no problems. - Most of the problems are due to connection layer bugs blocking Speedtest nodes and caching inaccurate information. Direction for improving transparency - The project plans to more clearly deliver various information and news, including downtime and services, to supporters through ambassadors. - Due to security issues, we are avoiding disclosing the network status before employment ends. We plan to introduce a public employment service after confirming that the Docker container's security status is safe. - We are operating a bug bounty program through tickets where you can receive compensation when you discover a system vulnerability or bug, and this is contributing to the UI v2 update. (No compensation before TGE, planned after) - Lawyers have been hired by TGE to ensure that no regulatory interference will occur once the project is fully legal to operate. Hardware related factors - Due to software differences between the two brands, AMD does not perform as well as NVIDIA. NVIDIA will not be expanding their requirements because they have much more powerful cores and switching capabilities in AI applications. - 8GB is absolutely insufficient to secure sufficient memory and will not be supported soon. The team recommends at least 16GB of RAM to ensure stable data transfer and efficient task balance between nodes. - Unfortunately, this will not be allowed as networks grow and require tightening, especially for Macs with less than 16GB of RAM. Improved community activities and important announcements - The support & ticket system is being reorganized, which will allow more people to be supported efficiently at the same time. This will be held on a platform other than Discord. - Node (worker) points are always counted in the backend and are not erased. They are in IDLE state and points are accumulated while connected to the IO network. - If the operation time of a node (worker) changes due to downtime or system error, you can request compensation by opening a ticket at any time. (Direct support from the founder) - Since the project encourages more ambassador activities, it is recommended to inquire about requirements and qualifications through managers.

In this blog post, we demonstrate how to deploy fine-tuned LLM inference containers on Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE), an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)-managed Kubernetes service that simplifies deployments and operations at scale for enterprises. This service enables them to retain the custom model and datasets within their own tenancy without relying on third-party inference API.
