Our ocean is losing its breath. Since 1960s, the ocean has lost 2% of its oxygen as a result of climate change, intensive farming and coastal pollution. Low oxygen levels threaten vital marine ecosystem, pushing them towards collapse. This alarming trend highlights the urgent need for conservation efforts to #SaveOurOcean. What is the basis of arriving at the figure of 2%? Kindly enlighten. Unless the entire ocean areas are surveyed, how can we arrive at a realistic figure?
