In today’s world we have limitless access to any specialist knowledge we can dream of. So what is the point of organizing summits and conferences? The purpose of these gatherings is increasingly shifting from knowledge aquistion to exchanging views and spending good time with people of similar interests. This observation played a big role in how we designed our Summit experience. The video below offers a glimpse into the spirit and energy of these incredible 2 days.
Applied Innovation * Service Design * Process Digitalization & Automation * Organizational Culture Improvement
Looking back at last month’s GenAI Powered Software Engineering Summit we organized here in Wroclaw, I’m proud of the strong connections we forged with both our clients and partners during the two days of in-depth discussions and collaborative sessions. Here's a quick video showing some of the highlights — it was truly a job well done by everyone involved. Thanks to all who joined, making this event a real success! Celebrate hard problems! Every now and then in this startup journey, we come across hard problems—problems that are much harder than they first appeared. When they show up, I get truly excited and tell the team, "This is awesome... it's hard, it's frustrating, it needs clever solutions, patience, focus, some late nights, and multiple iterations. But most importantly, it means we are building an edge by solving it. If you breeze through every technical problem, chances are the competition will do that too, and you will have nothing to differentiate yourself." And once you get it... the harder the problem, the more excited you are to go all-in to solve it! I am full of gratitude that we have this culture at the core of our all-star crew, taking on some of the most complex challenges of bringing AI to a new domain. More than once, I've thought, "team, this is a v2 thing... this is nice to have," and they have come back with sheer tenacity and internal drive, surprising us all by tackling the hard problem so that our v1 product itself has features I would have expected at v3, and it is blowing the minds of customers. Kudos to Farhan Kaskar, Colin McCloskey, Eapen Jose, Dishant Padalia, Muhammad Azhar Musthafa, Paramesh Shiyaam Sundar Singaravelan, Vinayak K! The fact that in just 8 months from starting up, we have managed to hire a team with that drive and work ethic, who have trained and practiced at some of the best institutes and companies, is surreal! (Meta, Adobe, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Yale University International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, University of Massachusetts Amherst and more) Like to work on hard problems? “There’s more to Software Engineering than just being a coder.” This insightful quote underscores the importance of the nature of a software engineer. It highlights there's a deeper meaning behind the title software engineer. Last night, I had the privilege to once again attend Pathways2Tech Week 2 hosted by Headstarter AI. There were many incredible speakers who spoke last night such as Dennis Crowley, Julian Alvarez, Hamza Ali (hiring from our fellowship program), and Erik. Specifically I'd like to highlight Tariq Afaq, $30B IPO and first engineer at AppLovin, who's quote I used at the beginning of this post. He mentioned and highlighted success within the industry. To become a software engineer, you need more than just code. There are a vast number of responsibilities that come with it, but I want to touch on a few today: Software engineers need to be problem solvers and designers who can create solutions that take efficiency and functionality into account while addressing difficult problems. In order to guarantee alignment and clarity, they must collaborate and communicate with clients, project managers, and other team members on a regular basis. Delivering dependable software requires rigorous testing and quality assurance, and continuous maintenance and support guarantee its functionality and relevance over time. In addition, they must be able to address security and compliance to safeguard user data and comply with rules, and they concentrate on user experience, making sure that software is accessible and easy to use. Once again, I'd like to thank Yasin Ehsan 🚀 Faizan Ahmed🚀Headstarter for hosting this event. I've benefitted alot throughout the fellowship and throughout these panels of discussion. #softwareengineer #headstarterai #pathways2tech

👩💻 Huge change predicited in how developers write and adapt code for 2024 👩💻 ⚡ TuringBots will improve software development lifecycle productivity by 15% to 2024, - In 2024 it is predicated that developers will go from experimentation to embedding TuringBots in their software development lifecycle. - It is estimated that coders will increase their productivity by 20–50% (on average). Some have already seen productivity rise to 200%! ⚡ More corporate projects will release under ajar source than open source, - Ajar source is on track to take over open source. - Red Hat has stopped releasing its enterprise changes to the public which is expected to shake up software licensing ploys, where companies call their license open source when its actually ajar! ⚡ Backstage will become the predominant framework for self-service developer portals, - Backstage is a developer portal created by Spotify and donated to the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation). - There has been a significant increase in companies investing in Backstage such as GitHub, Mercedes-Benz, American Airlines, Ericsson, and Lowe’s. - It is expected that Backstage adoption will continue to expand and become the number one framework for IT infrastructure and operations. ⁉ Keen to hear your thoughts on these predictions and if you are expecting on other trends to emerge in 2024?! #techcommunity #technologytrends #softwaredevelopers #softwaredevelopment #aicommunity #ai #turningbots #ajar #backstage #trands #2024trends #techcareers #softwareengineers
