5 most reasons people are shifting from village in town based on infrastructure and suggest solutions: 1. Limited Access to Clean Cooking: Challenge: Villages often rely on traditional, inefficient cooking methods, leading to indoor air pollution, respiratory diseases, and deforestation. Solution: Introduce clean and affordable cooking technologies, such as improved cookstoves or biogas systems. Conduct awareness programs to educate communities on the health and environmental benefits of these alternatives. 2. Inadequate Electricity Supply: Challenge: Villages may experience inconsistent or no electricity, hampering productivity, education, and healthcare services. Solution: Invest in rural electrification projects, utilizing renewable energy sources. Implement off-grid solutions like solar power to ensure a reliable and sustainable electricity supply for households and local businesses. 3. Poor Water and Sanitation: Challenge: Lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities contributes to waterborne diseases and compromises overall health. Solution: Initiate water supply projects, construct sanitary facilities, and promote hygiene education. Implement sustainable practices to ensure the long-term availability of clean water. 4. Limited Connectivity: Challenge: Inadequate road infrastructure and limited internet connectivity hinder communication, trade, and access to information in villages. Solution: Improve road networks to enhance transportation. Expand internet connectivity through rural broadband initiatives, and provide digital literacy training to empower communities with online resources. 5. Inadequate Housing Facilities: Challenge: Poor housing conditions affect the well-being of villagers and may impede economic development. Solution: Invest in affordable housing projects, incorporating sustainable construction practices. Provide financial support and incentives for housing improvements, fostering a healthier and more conducive living environment. #Equal_opportuinity_for_all

💧 Enhancing Wastewater Management with Viz Multi 💧 The Problem: Urban areas in India are grappling with the management of wastewater from households and industries. Inefficient treatment processes lead to environmental pollution and public health risks. The Solution: If wastewater treatment plants integrated Avant Enviro’s Viz Multi-Parameter Transmitter, they could monitor multiple water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen in real-time. This would ensure efficient and effective treatment processes. The Impact: The Viz Multi would enable wastewater treatment plants to operate more efficiently, reducing pollution and safeguarding public health. Cleaner water discharge would lead to healthier ecosystems and communities, contributing to sustainable urban development. #WastewaterManagement #UrbanHealth #WaterQuality #VizMulti #EnvironmentalProtection #SustainableCities

Non-Revenue Water: the key to an effective drinking water management 🚰 This term refers to water that is lost before it reaches the service users. It is purchased and distributed by water utilities but disappears down the pipes. According to the World Bank, this water loss amounts to 32 billion cubic meters a year, half of it in developing countries.🌐 Why ❓ Mainly because of aging, poorly maintained and poorly mapped pipes. Water services are therefore incurring colossal losses, estimated at over 3 billion euros in developing countries alone. At Acwa Robotics, we think that it is therefore important to learn how to manage this phenomenon, in an environment where water is a resource to be preserved.💧 Find the full article and invite to IWA's workshop related to NRW here : https://lnkd.in/eedDk3wc #nonrevenuewater #watermanagement #worldbank
