Combining curiosity and innovation to curate solutions that respond to our emerging risk climate | Views expressed are own
Good read. The transition hinges on the harmony of clean tech supplychains and a obvious risk is production of critical minerals is highly concentrated geographically. This raises the obvious concerns about the security of critical materials. Supplychain risk management has to emerge as a critical discipline. In doing so it can champion the production of critical materials and mitigate against supplychain disruption. Insurers have a pivotal role to play across all sectors they serve, from construction and property to marine transportation and logistics. Offering the much needed expertise around supplychain management in addition to risk transfer solutions for the construction and operational phases of renewables projects should be a priority for carriers spearheading the commercial viability of transition. #supplychain #supplychainriskmanagement #criticalminerals #renewables

Demand for critical raw #materials for the #energy transition is soaring. Many countries are now engaging in state-to-state arrangements to encourage new project development and supply resilience in critical minerals. To learn more, read our new white paper, "Translating Critical Raw Material Trade into Development Benefits", which maps major examples of these arrangements. #energytransition #criticalminerals
