We cap our final Friday in October with a salute to #AAFEAFellows alumna (2020) and #MemberOnTheMove LaTanya Anderson, MBA, MSTechMgt, FAC-PPM III LaTanya embodies exceptional leadership acumen, exemplifying the “Gretzky Factor.” Hockey great Wayne Gretzky is famously quoted as saying “Skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it is.” As Associate Director, Professional Development for the U.S. Department of the Interior DOI University, LaTanya is part of the Growing Good in Government Initiative (G3I), which seeks to foster agility, innovation, and efficiency in government programs and projects. G3I is working to usher federal agencies into the age of #digital and #artificialintelligence. Its goal is to break down barriers, overcome challenges, and identify the benefits to rejuvenating governmental processes and shed light on the future of public service – merging tradition with innovation. In short, where the puck is going to be. Tanya participated earlier this month as a panelist in the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center’s (ATARC) webinar on the G3I initiative. Its visionary, groundbreaking work that will shape public service operations of the future.
