For the sixth year in a row, MOL Serbia and the Road Traffic Safety Agency continue the project "A game is for children, a child's life is not a game". This year project is upgraded and a series of free of charge educational trainings for proper usage of children’s car seats will be held during the whole summer at 20 Mol service stations all over the Serbia. At the media conference dedicated to the start of this year’s project, Head of Retail Biljana Malisic Jut said „In accordance with our "SHAPE TOMORROW" strategy, our goal is to make the region greener, more self-sustaining and more competitive, but we are still focused on the safety of traffic and passengers, especially the youngest ones. We think that education is the most important in preventive action to avoid potential accidents, because only properly installed car seats in the vehicle, will be guarantee for the child protection. We are committed to making your children’s journey safer!

As the summer is coming to an end, traffic increases with people returning to school and to the office. We believe that every accident is one too many and launched Athlon RoadSafety. On top of that, we join hands with national organizations like Athlon Nederland who partners with Veilig Verkeer Nederland, a Dutch traffic safety foundation, to support their ‘Back to School’ campaign. Children and students do not yet have as much traffic experience as adults. With these 5 tips, we can make traffic safer together! https://lnkd.in/gFf6Ax8B

Tomorrow we celebrate the third anniversary of the arrival of our e-scooters to Bournemouth and Poole alongside our partners BCP Council. Despite there being no announcement regarding e-scooter legislation in the most recent King's Speech, it’s worth considering just how much of an impact the vehicles have had across the region since launching as a Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom trial scheme in 2021. They’ve clocked up over 936,000 journeys over more than 3,151,000 km, saving over 122 tonnes of carbon emissions. They’ve also taken an estimated 318,000 private vehicle journeys off the region’s congested roads. It’s one of the country’s most popular trial schemes and our riders tell us that they value the convenience and flexibility of e-scooters and find them incredibly fun to use. Everything is in place for them to become cemented as an absolute key part of integrated urban transport systems and help massively reduce carbon emissions and traffic congestion. We just need the government to introduce the correct legislation to make them more accessible, which would have a chain effect by boosting their popularity and amplifying calls for better infrastructure. Another successful EPOS installation by the talented Chris Janosko! 🛠️ This time, it's a private 125-yard golf hole that's getting the royal treatment. The 550 EPOS is all set to handle the mowing for not one, not two, but SEVEN different zones. ⛳✂️ Our installations don't just make life easier; they make it greener, cleaner, and more enjoyable. In Texas, there is no statewide law prohibiting riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. However, local ordinances in some cities or towns may restrict or prohibit bicycles on sidewalks, particularly in busy commercial or pedestrian areas. For example, some cities, such as Austin and Houston, have local ordinances that prohibit riding bicycles on sidewalks in specific zones. It is essential to be aware of local regulations and guidelines regarding bicycle use on sidewalks to ensure the safety of both cyclists and pedestrians.
