Your first job after college can be daunting. It's a leap into the unknown, where you often feel like you're navigating uncharted waters, unsure of what to expect. When I started my journey at HackerRank straight out of college, I was no exception to these feelings. The uncertainty of a new workplace, the dynamics of a first team, and the apprehension about my role--it was all there. It's easy to believe that your early career is purely transactional, and you're bound to the 9-5 grind. However, my two years at HackerRank shattered these misconceptions. I discovered that a workplace could be so much more than a clock-in, clock-out routine. It can be a high-energy, super-positive platform where you're surrounded by exceptionally caring people who continually strive for excellence. In this thriving environment, I learned invaluable lessons about product development, customer satisfaction, and what it takes to build a successful business. Surprisingly, even as a fresh graduate, I was entrusted with significant responsibilities that molded me into the product manager I am today. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to HackerRank--the place that not only shaped my professional journey but also introduced me to remarkable individuals and forged lasting relationships. As they say, all good things must come to an end. It's now time for me to take the invaluable lessons I've learned here and embark on a new adventure. Thank you, everyone at HackerRank, for the incredible journey. It was an experience I'll always cherish. 💚

#revoked #layoff I received an unexpected mail informing me that my offer for the Software Engineering position has been impacted due to changing market conditions. While this news is disappointing, I chose to see this as a detour rather than a dead end. Now my college placements are over and this becomes a difficult time to navigate for good opportunities. I have strong problem-solving skills and also have previously worked at firms like Atlassian as a Software Engineer Intern in summer 2023 thereby getting exposure to working on real projects and creating an impact and further sharpening my skills. I firmly believe that given some opportunity, I can demonstrate my capabilities. Therefore I am reaching out here, if anyone is aware of any openings or any leads, I would be highly grateful for the support. I am hereby attaching my resume below for consideration. I am sharing this not to gain any sympathy, but to seek guidance and support in such unprecedented times.I firmly believe that this setback will only make me more determined to find the right fit and continue to grow further in my career. Please feel free to reach out to my email at [email protected] My resume: https://bit.ly/3TZjkyl for any insights or opportunities. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your support and time means everything. #JobSearch #Opportunity #CareerGrowth #openforwork #recuriter #openings #opportunities

Week 1: This past week, I dove headfirst into the job application process in IT, and here's the tally: Over 50 applications submitted - 5 immediate rejections - 2 phone screens - 3 email threads (all rejections) - 40 ghosted applications Despite these numbers, I remain undeterred. My passion for technology and its potential to change lives fuels my journey back. This week has been a learning curve, teaching me persistence, the importance of tailoring applications, and staying hopeful against odds. To those out there on a similar path, you're not alone. Let's share our journeys, tips, and encouragement. Here's to finding our place in tech soon. #BreakIntoTech #TechCareers #JobSearch #Resilience #CareerChange #OpenForNewOpportunities

It was so cool to do another panel last week with some amazing folks in the industry and speak to people who were hoping to break into it, and provide some hopefully helpful career advice. Thankful for the opportunity as well. Also amped to be teaching AI/ML part time with Brainstation soon! Teaching, if one can manage the time, is always a discipline in everyone that should be cultivated. #genai #ai #llms #datascience

At SparxIT, every new hire is a step into the future. But here’s something we’ve learned: great outcomes can't be rushed. Why might a promising start seem slow? 1️⃣ Adjusting to a new culture takes time. 2️⃣ Perfecting strategies doesn’t happen overnight. 3️⃣ Team synergy builds gradually. So, what’s our approach? We give it time. More than just a probation period. More than just first impressions. Because when we don’t rush to conclusions, we allow space for potential to unfold. "Let's not rush to conclusions. Great things need time to grow." PS: We are hiring for multiple roles, interested?
