#newdaynewchapter Sacred prayer: All Hanuman mantras are sacred and powerful as these invoke spiritual power of Hanuman ji. Nevertheless, these only work, when chanted with utmost devotion and mental purity. Bajrang Baan: It is a long prayer meant to nullify evil forces or bad karmas and known for its effective powers. Kindly chant it under guidance and utmost purity as it carries beej mantras or sacred syllables. Caution: Unlike Hanuman Chalisa and Hanuman Ashtakam; Bajrang Baan is a very strong invocation similar to Mahamrityunjaya mantra that requires special chanting! As far as power is concerned, Bajrang Baan, Hamumanashtak and Hanuman Chalisa are powerful in Their own sense and ways, but the question should be - What and which mantras should be recited. Bajrang Baan has one line where you ask Hanuman ji to swear of Shri Ram to do something “इन्हें मारु, तोहि सपथ राम की। राखु नाथ मरजाद नाम की॥” Actually when we are in problem and ask for help or we recite mantras to get blessing. We can not compel the God to do some thing. Bajrang Baan should not be recited until suggested and guided by someone. Hamumanashtakam can be recited for any situation of trouble and “sankat”. Taking the name of Hanuman ji is always great as he is “Mangal Murti” and you can bow to him anytime at any place or in any condition. But “Bajrang Baan” is tantrik form of worship. Any form of sacrifice or worship which compels someone to do something for/against his will can be termed as Tantrik karma. In Bajrang Baan we have quotes like… "Utthu utthu chalu tohe Ram dohai"…..(Arise my lord for your king Prabhu Shri Ram) Or "Inhe maru tohe sapath ram ki rakhu nath marjad naam ki" (Supress and Kill all the evil spirits in the name of Lord Sri Ram thereby maintaining the sanctity and propriety of the holy name). So this implies by chanting Bajrang Baan you are compelling Hanumaanji to do something for you by giving him his Lord’s name.It is to used whenever you are going through worst phase of your life or having very difficult time. If you use it unnecessarily it may bring success to you but it will be a temporary one or sometime at a great cost. You can always chant Hanuman Chalisa. It will definitely bring you happiness and success. May peace be upon all of us. Jay Shri Ram, Jay Shri Hanuman

I am like you flawed by sin yet redeemed by Grace. I have received so many Blessings throughout my life. I find it most amazing that God often thinks about me. Let us encourage each other as we face each new day.
The Rhythms of Scripture and Prayer It’s time to ask yourself a very real and pressing question. Not just are you reading God’s Word, but how are you reading it? Is it in a way that is bringing you closer to God? Don’t let the Enemy convince you that knowing what God says about you is just a religious box you must check every day, or else. Remember the point is not the structure. Reading God’s book of truths is meant to connect you to the Source of life, which is Jesus. If you find reading it is a chore, or not life-giving, then you may need a fresh new way to know what God says. Just like Jesus, you might have to go out of your way to know what God says about you. This is urgent. Make engaging with God’s words one of the most important priorities in your life. A Rhythm of Prayer God wants to hear from you about the pressing things on your heart, your worries, your desires, your hopes, and your fears. He wants to be involved in the innermost parts of your life. Jesus regularly went out of His way to be alone with God (Luke 5:15–16, Mark 1:32-38). After a full day of healing people, helping people, and performing miracles, lots of people had opinions of where Jesus should go and what He should do. Instead, Jesus spent time alone with God to discern where God was calling Him to next. Remember, before Jesus fought the lies of the Enemy in the desert, he was alone with God for 40 days. Time alone with God is a weapon, a way to fight the lies of the Enemy, and also the pressures and expectations of our everyday lives. Here are 3 practices of prayer that have reconnected me to God in profound new ways: Solitude - Being alone with your thoughts and with God to remember who you are and to hear yourself think. Try to notice the pauses of life. During a quiet moment, don’t rush to scroll on your phone, or to turn on more noise. Look for pauses, sit in the pauses, and use them for moments of silence and solitude and to reconnect with God. Specific Prayers - Pray specifically about things you are struggling with and ask God to bring you peace and healing. This might look like writing some of your prayers, hurts, and worries down. Specific prayers are an invitation for God to inspect your heart, heal you, and make you whole. We often cannot heal from what we cannot name. Take the time to name your sins, your scars, and your desires, and bring them each to God. Saying Thanks – Being thankful in prayer will strengthen your relationship with God. God invites you to pause and see what He’s already done, and worship Him with a grateful heart. Remembrance and gratitude is a key to reconnecting with God. Honest conversations with the One who created you will realign your life, revive your faith, and refresh your soul. Add these two rhythms into your life’s structure, your trellis. They will help you reconnect with God and live lighter and freer.

How to Grow Your Prayer Life 1. Prioritize Sleep If you're having trouble with morning devotions, you might be staying up too late (Psalm 4:8). 2. Consistency Is Key Instead of striving for long prayers daily, focus on regular prayer. 3. Seek God's Word Daily Don't just read to get through your plan; seek revelation and spiritual nourishment. 4. Keep a Journal Consider journaling as part of your devotion time (Habakkuk 2:2). 5. Minimize Distractions Turn off your phone notifications, avoid social media, and keep your mind focused on God. 6. Change Your Prayer Location Sometimes you pray in the same room for years and get into a rut. 7. Spend Extended Time with God Consider setting aside extended periods for time with God (Mark 6:31). 8. Incorporate Fasting into Your Prayer Life Adding fasting to your prayer routine can also bring a new depth and power to your prayer life. 9. Prioritize Worship Over Petition When you spend time adoring God, praising Him for who He is, and thanking Him for His goodness, you become more aware of His presence. 10. Often people say behind every successful man is a woman. But I say behind every success, there is the Divine saying “I am behind you”. And Divine dawns in you when you pray and cry for it. You don’t need any special qualifications or abilities to pray. Whether you are a wise person or not, whether you are rich or poor, you can pray. Prayer is a vital tool to improve your life. When you feel the obstacle is too much to handle, deep prayer can work miracles. What you can do, you do. What you cannot do, you pray for it! Whatever you do, know that the higher power has the final say and you can tap that power through your prayers. Prayer doesn’t mean just sitting and chanting some words. It’s about being in that serene, calm and meditative state. That is why, in the Vedic tradition, before prayer comes dhyana (meditation) and there is dhyana after prayer. When the mind is focused, the prayer becomes far more powerful. Be sincere in your prayers. Do not try to outsmart the Divine. Usually you give the time that is leftover; when you have nothing else to do, no guests to attend to, no parties to attend to, you go to the Divine. This is not quality time. Don’t be in a hurry to get what you seek from the Divine. When your intention is to get a boon from God, you are in a hurry. But when you know your own God, you are not in a hurry to get something out of God. You hurry to get something that throws you off balance and makes you small. True prayer, however, is just the opposite of wanting to possess. It’s about honouring and offering everything to the Divine. Honouring brings devotion and it leads to surrender. Devotion brings a healing touch to life. Devotion and faith is the central core of prayer. A true prayer can’t happen without devotion and faith. Having faith is to realise that God’s protection is there for you. Devotion is an inner flowering. Unless you are lit in devotion to the Divine, your life will remain restless. In devotion, longing will arise in you. And when there is longing, true prayer happens by itself. feeling blessed Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Art of Living

💟 ONE HEART PRAYER GUIDE. DAY 18 | 3 JULY 2024 | WEDNESDAY THE BITTER ROOT “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” Hebrews 12:14-15 NIV The root of bitterness is caused by failing to receive God's grace, which then causes trouble or corruption in the church. Therefore, Christians should make every effort to live in peace with all people, pursue holiness, and look after each other diligently. The seed of bitterness is anger and disappointment at being treated unfairly. The soil of bitterness is a heart that harbours hostility and does not deal with hurt by the grace of God. When someone becomes bitter, the bitterness takes root in the heart and grows deeper. The world is full of people who have not dealt with old hurts. Holding on to the anger causes the seed to germinate. It leads to resentment, gossip, saying bad things about those who hurt you, feeling sorry for yourself. The root of bitterness is underground; it is easy to hide and camouflage. Seldom do you find anyone who will admit that they are a bitter person. They will either deny it or disguise it. Bitterness is like a slow poison, one negative thought leads to another, and soon we’re tossing and turning at night, replaying hurtful interactions and making a new plan to get even. When your heart is bitter, God will not be real to you. Why? Because hatefulness and holiness do not dwell in the same heart. And without holiness you will not see the Lord (Heb.12:14). One of the most well-known stories of bitterness in the Bible is of Cain and Abel. Cain became consumed by bitterness for his brother and God when he felt unjustly treated compared to his brother Abel. Cain resisted God and killed his brother out of hatred and pity for himself. This is the condition of most people in the world. But Christians should be different. We have something that unbelievers do not have. We have been forgiven of our own sins; we were adopted by a loving, merciful Father; we were given an indwelling God whose power transforms us from the inside out; we were given divine gifts to minister healing and reconciliation to the world around us. Why don't we? We either have not experienced being forgiven, or know the love of God, or experienced transformation in our hearts. But it is never too late. Scriptures to meditate on before praying: Heb.12:14-15. Here are some things that we can do and pray personally (ME), and as the church (US), so that we can help others (THEM). Read the following prayerfully and ask the Lord to bring about this transformation in your own life (ME) and in your church (US). Pray that the church will be able to minister effectively in the world God places us (THEM). 1. Trust the Sovereignty of God. Whatever trial you’re facing today has
