GCG is thrilled to offer Impact Capacity Assessment Tool (iCAT) engagements, a planning tool and team building process that can provide immediate capacity and growth insights, learning and reflection, and strategy alignment to nonprofit organizations of all sizes. We deeply appreciated our most recent iCAT partnership with Resolve, an incredible violence prevention organization in New Mexico, along with the kind words they’ve shared about our work together (testimonial below). We know that many organizational leaders are reflecting on 2023 and planning for impact in the New Year. The iCAT is a cost-effective and time efficient way to support broader planning processes, and connects into annual goals, strategic planning, professional development opportunities, and the identification of capacity building initiatives for philanthropic support, among others. If your nonprofit leadership and board could benefit from a strengthened understanding of organizational capacity and a facilitated space to engage in planning, we'd love to connect. #socialimpact #strategicplanning #capacitybuilding #leadership

Great conversation with smart people! We enjoyed discussing the current capital raising environment from small to large raises, from the perspective of founders, VCs (small and large), banks, and everyone in between. In general, and as many know, the capital market has tightened. Founders have to be careful in their raises. We discussed ideas such as: 1) Companies reducing expenses to improve profit (or get to profit), 2) Founders considering alternative raise options such as SAFEs or Convertible Notes, and 3) Asking customers for large pre-pays to fund growth, and more. Thanks to Mark Flaherty and Scouts Talent for putting on the event, and thanks to Danny Cunagin for hosting us at the amazing Invenshure office space! Founders: what approaches have you taken or will take in funding your growth? Investors: what approaches do you like to see in the founders and companies you work with? Brian Cox Ben Bowman
A huge thank you to everyone that participated in our Scouts Talent Scouts Executive Exchange . A special thanks to Danny Cunagin, who moderated the event at Invenshure, LLC’s headquarters near downtown. The stimulating discussion around raising capital in today’s economic climate as well as assisting the CEO and CFO attendees make valuable new connections, prove how important these roundtable discussions can be for local leaders. We’re already making plans for the next Exchange! #CFOLeadership #ScoutsExecutiveExchange #CFOMinneapolis #thoughtleaders #curious
