Cooling as a critical strategy for climate adaption Really pleased to publish our report - The Hot Reality: Living in a 50°C World exploring the role of cooling in adapting to rising ambient temperatures and strategies to build resilience sustainably. With more than a year of research and debate, workshops and high-level roundtables, and contributions from more than 35 subject matter experts around the globe, the report shows why governments and policy makers need to recognise cooling as critical national infrastructure (CNI) if we are to build resilience to the impact of climate change. It includes a first set of key recommendations for government, industry and academia. As a living programme - and key pillar of our work, especially in India and Africa as well as UK and Europe - looking forward to discussing the findings, recommendations and building further exchange of insights at the IMECHE this afternoon with two events. Further international events planned for later this year. Big thank you to Tim Fox and all the contributors and peer reviewers for making this project possible and launching it with such an in-depth body of work. news story - https://lnkd.in/gVGEAjkx reports - https://lnkd.in/gDw_bPM8
