There are several key components to a successful suburban retrofit project: 🏙️✔️ 1️⃣ Community Engagement: Active listening to residents’ needs and preferences allows developers to tailor retrofits to suit the communities wants/needs. 2️⃣ Aligned Goals: Public and private parties aligning their goals and collectively working toward the same vision allows the project to proceed smoothly. 3️⃣ Investment: Public agencies backing the project helps incentivize private developers to join the project when investor involvement is low due to fragmented properties. #SuburbanRetrofit #SustainableDevelopment
