We begin learning how to regulate emotions as early as our single-digit years, taking plenty of cues from how our parents regulate their emotions...or how they don't. So, in a new study published in the journal Applied Research in Quality of Life1, researchers wanted to know exactly what parents can do to help their kids learn to regulate emotions.
