Organisations use many levers to keep the cost of operations at optimum - Off shoring, near shoring, insourcing, improve seat/ employee utilization, outsourcing to third parties, process improvement, Tactical Automation, Vendor consolidation, Cloud, Big Data/ Data Sciences for decisions are proven levers. As organisations have hit the wall after decades of driving 8-10% efficiencies yr on yr using these mature levers, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗜 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀- RPA, Workflows, Chat Bots, Intelligent API’s, OCR, NLP, Data Science, Advanced Algorythms (Levenshtein Algorithm for eg.) Machine Learning, Deep Learning and now Chat GPT/ Generative AI just entered the arena; Tools such as Kofax, UI Path, Blue Prism, Pega, Alteryx, Python, R, Hadoop are not leaving any stones unturned to build interoperability in thier data architecture, process architecture, application architecture and tech architecture. On a parallel note, hiring at lower levels to keep the pyramid rich at the bottom is also gaining momentum. For any VP attrition you hire an AVP, provide her a 12-18 month growth path and that’s a win win proposition. As the 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 plays out, we now find ourselves in situations wherein senior managers have many more Gen Z’s and millennials to manage; 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗭 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆.
