I’m thrilled to share that the Eastern Plains Council of Governments (EPCOG), in partnership with the United Way of Eastern New Mexico (UWENM) and the Eastern New Mexico Consortium, has been honored with the prestigious NADO 2023 Aliceann Wohlbruck Impact Award!
🌐It was an honor to play a role in securing funding and supporting this visionary project to address mental health and substance use issues, showcasing creative regional economic development. EPCOG's collaborative efforts have led to significant achievements:
✅ Expansion of youth mental health services in rural schools
✅ Building a workforce pipeline for mental health professionals
✅ Coordinating post-discharge care with hospitals and detention centers
✅ Empowering teachers, counselors, and parents with resources
