Last week together with Djaëlle Rook and Inês Abreu I had an amazing opportunity to attend European Women in Technology Conference and I left being truly inspired. The event was full with powerful and influential people who shared their journeys and successes. I gained an overview of emerging trends, particularly in AI of course, which was both fascinating and enlightening. It was a great experience being at WEEC2024. It’s been a month plus since the event, and I have had time to reflect on the lessons learned. The congress provided me with a global platform to network and build my circle. As I celebrate #iwd2024, it is worth remembering these lines. 1. It’s not just how far I have to go, but how far I've come. It's been a great journey. 2. The meaning of life is based on the meaning I give it. 3. The only way to change the world is to change the biases that changed me, and most importantly, 4. This is the era to shift ourselves towards others to foster inclusion, as “when we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world." Happy International Women’s Day✨ #womeninresearch #womeninscience #womenchangemakers #uae2024

Ndustrial is incredibly proud of the amazing women that have helped make the company what it is, from technical roles to senior leadership. That said, we acknowledge we have far more room to grow. While we strive to be a shining light for the recruitment, development, and retention of qualified women at all levels, the statistics show our industry has much more upside to go: -Only 15% of tech startup founders are female -Women receive just 2% of VC funding -Women in tech are even less likely to be promoted than women in other fields -Black and Hispanic women make up just 5% of the tech workforce To all those fighting these trends, we see you.
It’s with great pride we get to celebrate the women who have made Ndustrial the company it is today. While it shouldn’t take a specific day or month for us to always appreciate their contribution, today is a great moment to pause and reflect on the value they bring everyday to our company, our customers and our broader mission in decarbonizing the industrial world. As I reflect on the impact they've had on Ndustrial it is easy to recognize the existing things they've enhanced or things they’ve built which had never existed in our company. They are each builders across the different domains of our business. In the world of tech startups, across engineering and leadership, there is still much to do to bring in more diverse experiences and thoughts but today we get to celebrate our little corner of the world with shoutouts to Laura Pelletier MacLachlan, Laura Nichols, Takiya Brown, Casey Schurtz, Haoyuan (Miley) Gao, Susan W., Alana Stanley, Suzanne Levine and Sarah Hepperla. #internationalwomensday2024 #iwd2024

On the Panel Session,"Men Supporting Women In Technology".One of the Panelists, Ahmed Mustapha,Lead Consultant at Mickamus Consulting International. He challenged the stereotype that women struggle with math and encouraged them to embrace it as a foundation for success in tech fields, emphasizing that mathematics is not a demon but simply a tool-just a number. His message aimed to inspire confidence and dismantle the fear of numbers that often deters women from pursuing careers in technology. Let’s break the myth! Encourage more women to embrace math and tech as powerful pathways to innovation and leadership. #SHEEDXAfricaSummit2024 #WomenInTech #TechForWomen #TheCatalyst #SAS24 #DigitalBoss
