Fusible loop system is used for fire/ heat detection in the oil and gas industry compared to the conventional flame/smoke detector, as the detector are slow in detecting the fire because it only activates once a fire has produced sufficient heat of which heat detector could respond. Meanwhile, fusible loop system would consist a fusible plug that filled with an alloy that will melt 30°C higher than the maximum ambient temperature ( 70°C or 100°C). Thus, They are used as safety equipment with the aim to prevent the fire from spreading and to both to protect the plant and to safeguard the people. Guys, ACE GASES SECOND LCO2 PLANT IS GOING ONLINE SOON END OF THIS YEAR. !!! KUALA LUMPUR: Ace Gases Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Kelington Group Bhd with a 97.19% ownership stake, is planning to invest RM45 million in the establishment of its second carbon dioxide gas recovery plant in Kerteh, Terengganu (P2). In an announcement made to Bursa Malaysia today, the company disclosed that P2 will be constructed and set up within the existing Kerteh site (P1) with the goal of producing beverage-grade liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2). The expansion project, which will add a manufacturing capacity of 70,000 tonnes per year for LCO2, is scheduled to commence in December 2022 and is anticipated to be completed by December 2023, according to the group's statement.
