Update for Aesthetic Providers in Australia 🇦🇺 The Therapeutic Goods Administration has introduced new restrictions that impact the marketing of medical aesthetic products online. According to the TGA, influencing consumers about the use or supply of prescription medicines through advertising is now prohibited. This includes popular cosmetic substances like botulinum toxins and hyaluronic acids. Phrases such as "wrinkle-reducing injection" and "dermal fillers" are no longer permissible. While these changes technically took effect in December 2023, guidance documents were released late January. The restrictions are coming out faster than the guidelines! Providers must quickly adapt their marketing strategies across websites, social media, SEO, and advertising to comply. Read our full article about the changes here: https://rb.gy/dwyfku and stay posted as we're working on a comprehensive strategy to help you navigate the new landscape!
