One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from playing Over Coffee is to:  1. Pause  2. Listen and focus on asking a follow-up question using one of my random verb cards.  3. Continue the above until I’ve asked three follow-up questions. 4. Set my rebuttal aside for another day (i.e. tomorrow). It is exactly this structure that has allowed me to stay open and curious. Try it. Once you use one verb, add another verb so you always have three verbs to choose from.
