In today's digital age flooded with information, consumers are more discerning than ever. Authentic, not highly product content fosters trust, as audiences believe they're engaging with genuine messages rather than traditional promotional tactics. It's about creating stories that blend seamlessly into feeds while fostering genuine connections. Ironically, coming from a production background where I'd invest days, if not weeks, meticulously editing videos and crafting After Effects animations, this was a tough realization for me. It made me reflect on how sometimes, less can indeed be more when it comes to forming real connections. At Job.com, one of our 3 core values is to be" human at the core" of everything we do. I can't stress enough how much I personally resonate with this, especially when it comes to what we put out there. Every article, post, or video we share is more than just content—it's a piece of who we are, our dedication to realness, and being human at the core.

I was born in West Palm Beach at Good Samaritan Medical Center. I love helping others and thus working at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center has allowed me to assist thousands of patients over the years. I have also been able to help others through my ministry which has been most fulfilling, and now as a caregiver for my Dad even more so, as I am now able to give back to a parent. I feel that our families, friends, associates, and communities are made stronger by giving ourselves spiritually, physically, and emotionally. 2. Tell us a fun fact(s) about yourself that others may not know. I love formulating natural and organic products to promote healthy skin and hair. I have my own natural skin and hair care line. 3. How long have you been working at PBGMC? I’ve worked at PBGMC for over 22 years. 4. What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is assisting patients obtain health care services through coordinating exams or procedures. 5. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy ministry and gardening, both of which make me feel full of life and grateful. 6. If you could have dinner with someone famous, who would it be? Alicia Keys 7. If you could choose a superpower, what would it be? Camouflage 8. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? A career in Health and Safety teaches so much more than just legislation. ♥️ Earlier this month, my wife and I celebrated bringing our new twins, J & S into the world! ♥️ I've been a bit quiet on here since then, as things didn't quite go exactly to plan, and it has taken a good while to process what went on. But, importantly, we've been fortunate enough to bring two healthy, happy, (and often very hangry) babies home after just a couple of weeks in hospital. 😴 The sleep deprivation has been real! Whilst I'm not going to go into a huge amount of details on what happened, I do want to stress how thankful I am for Health & Safety: • Teaching me effective crisis management skills • Empowering me to share precise, and critical information when it is needed most • Inspiring me to adapt and prioritise to protect others in difficult situations This month I've felt incredibly fortunate to be working in a career that has enabled me to respond effectively and concisely when things don't go to plan. Health and Safety is more than just legislation, it's life skills for a multitude of situations, and man am I glad to be part of it! Although I now have just a week of paternity leave left, I'm all ears if anyone has any tips on how to get over the 'ack, my lower back' stage of newborns 😂 Be back soon. #ThanksSafety #Healthandsafety #paternity #twins

What people think a Care Assistant/Support Worker does: - ‘Wipes Bums’ - believe me, I’ve heard this hundreds of times in face to face interviews and thousands of times in phone screens (not to mention from some ignorant people who’ve never worked in care) THE REALITY - Personal Care. When I was a Home Care Assistant, people used to ask me ‘how do you manage cleaning peope, is it challenging?’ Or say things like, ‘Gosh, you wouldn’t find me doing that!’ … it used to really wind me up. Now, I take it with a pinch of salt as it’s just people who don’t know any better and aren’t educated in care work. Doing personal care for people is showing that you’re a very compassionate person who is taking into consideration that persons dignity and showing them complete respect in doing so. One day, you may need someone to help you with personal care, so please show more respect when discussing the subject. - ‘Makes tea and toast’ - true, for a lot of calls, but it’s maybe 5% of a companionship call. 👉 THE REALITY- Companionship Care. You’re assisting that person as much as you can, whilst still allowing them to have as much independence as possible. I’ve said for years now that we need to have care work implemented into high school curriculum. I don’t say that point lightly. Imagine teaching people at school from 11 years old, the importance of caring for people, what the role is, why it’s important and the career path you can have? We’d have a much better society, for one. And secondly, we’d have less issues when it came to recruitment and retention. Perhaps, something for my political followers to think about, more than me. #carerecruitment #retention

Time brings progress, this should result in improvements right? Then how come a puzzle from my childhood is still doing its job and keeping my daughter occupied 25 later. When one we got last Christmas is in the bin with several peices broken. Sometimes you need to go back to basics, for me in recruitment that was honesty…. I am honest with a client if we will struggle to fill a position, I’m honest with a nurse if they dont meet the requirements of a role and honest with my boss if I need help. If the peices won’t fit they don’t fit we move onto the next… #ohrecruitment #occupationalhealth #recruitment #honesty
