I had the honor of being on the panel at EDUTech Asia 2023, unleashing the power of 'Levelling Up in the Classroom with Game-Based Learning.' 🚀 I would like to gather all the gems from the discussion in this keepsake post. 🎮 Started by delving into the learner profile of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and here's what we uncovered: 🕹️ Understanding Learner Profile for Game-based Learning: - Gen Z, the digital natives, are comfortable with multiple devices and have a shorter attention span. - They value personalized experiences; game-based learning tailors to individual preferences and provides data-driven insights. - Leveraging analytics within games offers feedback, keeping learners engaged and motivated. ⚖️ Finding the Balance - Fun and Learning: - Striking the right balance ensures students are having fun while learning. - Integrate assessments to measure learning outcomes within or after the game. - Address cyber wellness challenges associated with gaming responsibly. 🎮 Embracing Collaborative Learning through Competition: - It's not about competing against each other but leveling up knowledge together. - Encourage students to leverage each other's strengths and insights to progress collectively. 💡Highlight: Gen Z loves role-playing games! 🌟 Quasar 2.0: A Triumph of Innovation and Collaboration! 🚀 Quasar 2.0, the electrifying hackathon that unfolded over two thrilling days with my teammates Anuj Mane, Vinayak Gharge, Kaustubh Iparakar, Laxman Mane, Prathmesh Sankpal,Sumit Khodke , Shivam Zanjurne , March 16th to March 17th, 2024, was an absolute success! 🎉 ⚡Tech enthusiasts converged at this meticulously planned event to showcase their coding prowess, receive expert guidance, and compete for prestigious prizes. From the adrenaline-fueled coding sessions to the invaluable mentorship opportunities, Quasar 2.0 was a beacon of creativity and collaboration in the tech world. 📍Day 1 kicked off with eager participants diving into their projects, fueled by anticipation and caffeine. Mentors provided invaluable insights, and teams worked tirelessly to refine their ideas. The evening saw the commencement of Evaluation Round 1, setting the stage for an intense competition. 📍Day 2 was a whirlwind of coding, mentoring, and final preparations. With determination and focus, participants fine-tuned their projects, leading up to the grand finale. Power Judging brought forth awe-inspiring presentations, showcasing the culmination of hard work and innovation. ✌️As winners were announced and prizes awarded, the atmosphere was one of jubilation and recognition.
