Kapil Bharati an IIT Delhi alum from the esteemed Karakoram Hostel, completed his B.Tech in 2000 from the Mechanical Engineering Department. Kapil began his career at SapientNitro, where he spent six years learning how a new organization operates. He left the company as a Senior Manager.
He tested his entrepreneurial skills by co-founding 11Rupees, a venture he left after four months. Undeterred, he made a second attempt by launching Contify Market, a competitive intelligence software for all business functions, where he led the technical team for two years. Kapil has worked with Fortune 100 clients across various industries, including e-commerce, logistics, financial services, and telecom. His entrepreneurial experience includes founding two startups—Contify and 11Rupees.
In 2011, Kapil Bharati, alongside Sahil Barua, Mohit Tandon, Bhavesh Manglani, and Suraj Saharan, co-founded Delhivery. As Head of Technology at Delhivery, Kapil revolutionized the logistics space by providing end-to-end solutions to build the operating system for commerce, combining world-class infrastructure, top-tier logistics operations, and cutting-edge engineering and technology.
Kapil Bharati has proven himself a first-generation entrepreneur with over 11 years of experience in IT, laying the foundation for aspiring startups in India.
