Pre-announcement of the Nano and advanced technologies for disease prevention, diagnostic and therapy (NANOTECMEC) Call The aims of the call are: – to support translational research projects that combine innovative approaches in the field of nanomedicine and – to encourage and enable transnational collaboration between academic research (public and private partnersi.e. research teams from universities, higher education institutions, public research institutions) and clinical/public health research (research teams from hospital, healthcare settings and other healthcare organisations) or R&D activities from industrial enterprises (all size).  The participation of Medical Doctors and clinicians is strongly encouraged. "Exciting Nanomedicine Opportunity in Europe! ERA4Health has announced a new call, focusing on innovative research projects in the field of #nanomedicine. More specifically, it targets: a) Regenerative Medicine b) Diagnostics c) Nanotherapy The primary goal of this call is to promote and facilitate translational (and transnational) collaboration among academic research partners, public research organizations, as well as clinical and public health research teams working in hospital settings (including the Laboratory of Nanomedicine at ICS Maugeri SpA Società Benefit ;-) ). This year at PrecisionMed Exhibition & Summit (PMES) 2024, we are launching #PrecisionGenQuest, a competition dedicated to PhD students, inviting them to present their research about Precision Medicine. The competition will reflect the themes of this year’s PMES main stage which are: Healthy Populations, Lifestyle Intervention and Disease Prevention, Clinical Genomics, and AI in precision medicine. The Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Pilot Award aims to support new and innovative research projects relevant to #CTS. Letters of Intent are due 8/12 and we're offering an informational webinar 7/17 at 1 p.m. EST. Office hours are available for personalized feedback. CTS is a field of investigation focused on understanding a scientific or operational principle that underlies a step of the translational process, with the goal of developing generalizable principles to accelerate translational research. We encourage applications that propose addressing a common cause of inefficiency or failure in research projects at any stage of translation, with the goal of producing foundational knowledge that will ultimately improve health.
