A stunning sight of hundreds of Kenyans lined up to register for accreditation for the upcoming Africa Climate Week. Kenya has proven itself to be a major proponent of climate change action not just in Africa but on the global space. We should be proud of this amazing show of responsible citizenry by its people and credit too must be given to the Kenyan Government for being tireless in it’s committments towards leading the charge in climate change action as well as creating a conducive environment for this initiative. Achieving carbon neutrality and net zero status is no mean feat and features a torrent of challenges, but it’s the will to achieve that counts. https://lnkd.in/dC-J-ycQ

recently,,, I presented a workshop on climate justice and the green economy for the #Jeel_connect Network in collaboration with #European_Union I discussed with the audience many important points about climate justice, especially with regard to the countries of the Mediterranean and North Africa . In the presence of young people from Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Palestine, I was pleased to inquire and discuss with them and listen to their experiences in their countries. #climate_change #climate_justice #EU #Jeel_connect
