The right boarding school community can be an outstanding place for an adolescent to grow, mature, and prepare for college. We work with all kinds of students who are considering boarding schools. Some have outgrown their current schools and need more of a challenge. Others are in schools that do not understand their needs or how they learn best. Still other students feel overwhelmed in their big public schools but thrive when they feel valued and recognized for who they are. Learn more at https://loom.ly/Pqhd-Kk

World Teachers’ Day on October 5, 2023 is a reminder to the world that the generations that build, work and produce are the creation of these loyal teachers whose great profession. It is also a reminder to governments and the international community that countries advance science and knowledge through education and teachers, so we must all care about them, improve their living conditions, and provide stability for them so that they can play their effective role in raising generations. #Together to create an international support fund for teachers

Teaching is a challenging job, and teachers are becoming a scarce resource. Teachers face many challenges, including workload pressure, lack of resources and support, and low esteem in the public discourse. Additionally, the treatment of teachers working in the system seems to be underwhelming outside of the spotlight of “performance appreciation.” Recently I requested a simple tool (resource) to efficiently carry out my duty as a teacher and the response was very poor. I immediately started investigating my resignation from the Government service altogether. What is a simple thing we can do as a community to care for teachers and promote teacher retention? I will go first: * Advocate for teachers and their profession. This means speaking out against policies, and persons that harm teachers and the teaching profession, and working to create a public discourse that values teachers and their work. 👩🏾🏫Hi I am Micheleina I use Education 📚and CARE♥️ to create #equityculture in underrepresented and corporate cultures.👩🏾🦯🦽🚲 🔔Subscribe to https://micheleina.blog/ to read more about Community.
