Great city with great restaurants. Be sure to show them Shimadzu's great GC-MS library search add-on. https://lnkd.in/efrYEAfH -Powerful deconvolution of complex GC/MS chromatograms -Searching up to 127 libraries in a combined search -e.g. , the combined library of NIST and Wiley (>1.1 million total spectra) can be searched in ~ 2 seconds -Assignment and use of extensive GC retention indices -Searching libraries for model compounds by similar and exact structure -Using MS Interpreter to explain EI fragmentation patterns for both user and commercial library spectra -Advanced hybrid EI search which greatly extends the standard EI search for unknown characterization https://lnkd.in/efrYEAfH
Here at #WRIB with Stephen Kurzyniec this week in San Antonio! Come visit Shimadzu Scientific Instruments at booth #74

Supporting potential cooperation between academia and industry and between countries is always very motivating. It was nice to be a part of this webinar yesterday and present how the combination of #BMBF, #BMWK and state funding is supporting excellent research and development on quantum technologies (see e.g. #quantumalliance_de) and the growth of QT ecosystems throughout Germany that support comprehensive technology transfer. These ecosystems offer great opportunities for international collaboration between academia and industry....between Germany and Spain. For example, learn more about #QVLS_ilabs, a BMBF-funded #Cluster4Future (https://ilabs.qvls.de/) and our state-funded High-tech Incubator #QVLS_HTI (https://hti.qvls.de) startup.niedersachsen Land Niedersachsen Quantum Valley Lower Saxony Munich Quantum Valley #QuantumBW #qt_berlin #QuantumNRW #quantumalliance_de BERLIN QUANTUM #CUI ct.qmat IQST — Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology ML4Q | Matter and Light for Quantum Computing Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD: Photonics, Optics, and Engineering - Innovation Across Disciplines QuantumFrontiers Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB Leibniz Universität Hannover Technische Universität Braunschweig
Today Oficina Económica y Comercial de España en Berlín held a webinar on quantum computing and quantum technologies in Germany that included institutional, academic and business participation to give a holistic view of the current development of quantum technologies in Germany, including opportunities for collaboration in R&D or business cooperation for Spanish companies and organisations active in the development of quantum technologies and/or their possible applications. The webinar panellists included Dr. Jan Suhren representing the German Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMBF), Dr. Tara Cubel Liebisch from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB and Dr. Robert Axmann from the German Aerospace Center (DLR). 👉 The webinar will be published shortly on the ICEX Webinar platform https://lnkd.in/dyZh-QV8
