⭕There are significant opportunities for SMEs in the defence and aerospace industry, but don't think it's easy, there's also a large amount of compliance and administrative work to ensure you're considered for work and are competitive against other market players. 👇
As laid out in ‘The Defence Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Action Plan’, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are critical to the UK’s defence industry. 🏗️ Both independently and when paired with primes, they provide vital skillsets, technology, and expertise to support the UK’s armed forces both at home and abroad. However, SMEs also face some complex challenges when it comes to growing within the industry and partnering with larger organisations. If you want your SME to be considered for opportunities to work alongside primes, you’ll need to make sure you’ve considered: 💡Cyber Essentials certification 💡DEFCON and FAR/DFAR compliance 💡JOSCAR membership/SME registration 💡Applicable ISO standards 💡NET Zero Strategy/ISO 14001 💡The UK Government’s social value requirements and expectations If you need support navigating the complex world of defence procurement, we’re here to help. Get in touch at [email protected], and we’ll make sure you’re irresistible to defence primes! 🔗Read the plan here: https://loom.ly/zQUD-1g #DefenceMarketing #DefenceCommunications #DefencePR #SME #SmallMediumEnterprises

The organizations subordinated to ComDCiber are the Cyber Defense Center ("CDCiber") and the National Cyber Defense School ("ENaDCiber"). CDCiber's purpose is to execute operational and intelligence activities within the Military Cyber Defense System, while ENaDCiber's mission is to promote and disseminate the necessary training for Cyber Defense in the scope of National Defense.
