Aerospace & Defence IPOs The Indian #Aerospace & #Defence listed space is limited to approximately 20 companies. Some companies are developing a defence vertical although the present revenue from the segment is negligible. There are some big names who have mature defence verticals like Adani Defence and Aerospace , TATA Advanced Systems Limited , Kalyani Defence , L&T Defence, RELIANCE DEFENCE LIMITED. The #NIFTY India Defence #Index was launched in Jan 2022. The Index has 7 DPSUs and 6 Public Limited companies. After the initial listing of DPSUs in 2018, many companies have taken the IPO route. The sector has not disappointed the #investors. The average return of these companies has been 73%. Incidentally, all the DPSUs listed at a discount whereas other companies listed with bumper returns. The DPSUs have gained over a period of time and given average 55% returns. Other companies have given 98% returns with only two companies trading below their listing price, still much higher returns than their issue price. Did you invest in the IPOs? How has your experience been? How do you see the defence listed space evolving in the future? #india #startup #defencenews #defenceblog #defenceindustry #defencetechnology #defenceforces #defencecapability #aatmanirbharbharat #makeinindia #indianarmy #indianarmedforces #drdo #indianairforce #indiannavy #sensex #investments #sharemarket #trading Abhranil Chatterjee Harshit Kapadia vishal biraia

In the fiscal year 2023-24, the Indian defense budget surged to an all-time high, reflecting the government's commitment to bolstering national security and indigenous defense capabilities.
