Software Engineer | Full Stack Web & Mobile Developer | JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Tailwind, MUI, ANTD
" Embarking on a unique journey led me to my dream career as a software engineer. After earning my HND in networking, I ventured into the Middle East, amassing over 6 years of valuable experience. However, my passion for software engineering never waned, driving me to pursue my dream. I began my journey with Python, self-learning without guidance. It wasn't always easy, and there were moments when I temporarily put it aside. But my determination remained unshaken. I pushed myself harder, often working late into the night, to master the intricacies of coding. My journey was marked by countless sleepless nights and unrelenting dedication. Along the way, I completed numerous projects that allowed me to apply my skills and creativity to real-world challenges. Enrolling in a BSc in Software Engineering marked a significant milestone, opening doors to coding, problem-solving, and innovation. Throughout my studies, I immersed myself in React and React Native, working on a diverse array of projects. As I stand on the threshold of realizing my dream, ready to embark on an exciting career as a software engineer, I've applied to various companies for internships, fueled by my thirst for knowledge and hands-on experience. I've even secured an internship opportunity, but the journey hasn't been without its challenges. I'm proud to share my journey with you. If you're interested in connecting, I've attached my resume and GitHub link for your reference. My story reflects relentless dedication, countless hours of hard work, and an unwavering passion for software engineering. I'm always open to connecting with like-minded individuals, mentors, and opportunities that align with my aspirations. Let's connect and explore new horizons together. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 Intercept 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 Sybren Moes: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 .𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿😀🧑🏻💻 𝟭. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁? In June 2021, I started at as a Software Developer, as a side job during the summer holiday☀️. At that time I enjoyed the working atmosphere so much, that I decided to stay. I therefore did both, my internship and final Graduation Project, at Intercept. After graduation I started in July 2022 with my fulltime job as official .NET Software Developer. 🎓🖥️ 𝟮.𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁? I have learned so much the past 2 years: for instance by working on the Reassure product. There I definitely learned what it is to continuously improve a product in a solid team. Within a year, we saw a real difference in the product, such a great thing to be proud of as team together! After my graduation, I switched to the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 team. In this team, we get different types of customer assignments so we learn about different aspects within Azure. This allows me to learn new, cool things about the Azure cloud ☁️ every day. 𝟯. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲?🏠🆚🏢 I feel comfortable with both, working home and in the office. Even though in the office, I sometimes have to beat people in the game of ping-pong and thus disappoint them 😉 𝟰. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱? The atmosphere within the company is positive and so great. I feel a certain connection to the colleagues in the company, a kind of family feeling. This is only emphasized by the amazing get togethers that Intercept organizes at least twice a year. That is awesome and nice to see everybody being together!💚 #growth #experience #opportunity #work #team #intercept #thegreenteam #grateful #development
