One of the verticals our team is most proud of serving is providers in the Community Information Exchange, CIE, community. They are the unsung heroes who serve those in need in our major US cities. We look forward to seeing you at this year's #CIE2024 summit. #211LA #211SD #SDHC #SkinnyGene #DiabetesCarePartner Why is a CIE important? It enables the sharing of data among multiple stakeholders – providers who need to share data to provide holistic care, people in need who must navigate complex systems of care, and researchers and decision-makers. Doing so in a shared language and across integrated technology, having a visible resource database, and enabling community care planning. It's an honor to serve you.

This week, NetHope CEO Lance Pierce led an insightful "Tech for Good: Vehicle for Transformation" panel at the PQMD Global Health Policy Forum. The discussion delved into how technology advancements could shape our journey towards providing quality healthcare for all. The panel included insightful talks from Jenna Eun, Hannah Cooper Klein, and Dr. Egbe Osifo-Dawodu. NetHope launched its 2024-2030 strategy with a focus on bridging the new Digital Divides. A generation ago, the Digital Divide described the gap in access first to computers and then to the internet and essential technologies. Today, organizations face new digital challenges that threaten the advancement of international NGO missions, as they grapple with the widening gap between available resources and growing needs. These new challenges—what NetHope calls the new Digital Divides—represent critical gaps in infrastructure, systems, capabilities, and knowledge. Over the next decade, we will lead collective action to bridge the New Digital Divides—skills and leadership, inclusion, protection, transformation and innovation, and climate adaptation and resilience—leveraging our powerful, proven model to advance the global good. Learn more about our new strategy here: https://lnkd.in/dHqdDTiY #NetHope #PQMD #TechForGood #HealthcareInnovation #PQMDForum #DigitalDivides

By all accounts 2023 was a great year here at ICF! Across thousands of projects, there were many highlights. We: Partnered with #virginatlantic for the world’s first flight using100% sustainable aviation fuel. Documented the significant impacts of #climatechange through the flagship National Climate Assessment. Launched the first major U.S. statewide beneficial electrification program across half a dozen utilities. Developed groundbreaking fuel economy standards with U.S. Department of Transportation to reduce 900 million tons of #co2emissions by 2050. Set up the European Union’s first Children’s Participation Platform to ensure children’s needs are included in the government’s decision-making processes. Helped the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention better track, predict, and improve U.S. health trends. Worked with the U.S. Agency for International Development to address health disparities for vulnerable and marginalized global populations. We also leveraged our #technology and innovation capabilities to scale programs and increase impact, including, but not limited to: Moving the federal system that tracks #healthdata across kidney transplant centers nationwide into the #cloud for the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Modernizing the systems within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that manage the investigations of global criminal organizations and combat #humantrafficking. Harnessing data from our #decarbonization platform to determine how to electrify the U.S. Postal Service’s vehicle fleet. Developing indicators and collecting data to shed light on the scale of violence against women and domestic violence in Europe and then informing government policy decisions to combat it. Using drones and our cloud-based grants management solution to quickly get federal funds to local communities impacted by natural disasters. And developing an #AI prototype to shorten the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s drug labeling review process from months to days. In 2023, ICF's impact was major. I am excited to be apart of the impact we will make in 2024! Grounded in our purpose: to build a more prosperous and resilient world for all. 🤸♀️ 🌍 🤸♀️

Canadian Innovation Week celebrates the unique innovation landscape, where diversity fuels creativity and stability fosters progress. #CIW24 recognizes the courage of problem-solvers tackling challenges on the spot – acknowledging every sector, embracing innovators at all stages, and uniting everyone under the banner of potential and inclusivity. Today we’re shining a light on the #SignalForHelp initiative, which was the recipient of the Governor General’s Innovation Award in 2023. In 2020, we launched the Signal for Help to help abuse survivors in the pandemic’s spike of gendered violence. The hand gesture innovation is simple – tuck the thumb into the palm and cover the thumb with fingers to ask for help without leaving a digital trace. Used in over 45 countries and shared virally around the world, it has saved lives and continues to be used.
