Many of us talk about the concept of Work-Life Balance (WLB). However, I believe there isn’t a perfect balance between Work and Life. Work and Life should be taken as and when required, and there's no fixed formula to it. Recently, I came across an interesting article on LinkedIn that illustrated some examples of WLB. Personal time can be taken in between the 9-6 working hours, and work can also be done outside those hours. Trust is the key, and it has to be both ways. Employers should trust their employees, and employees should position themselves to be trusted. Here’s the magnificent view from my hotel while I weaved in a little bit of work time to close our April numbers. I stole some working hours for my ME time too.
