ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia)’s Post

Today our CEO David Wong, CPA ICD.D along with Premier Eby and Minister Farnworth announced a $110 rebate for ICBC customers and no increase to basic rates, keeping rates stable until March 2026. David shared how we're able to offer this rebate due to our robust financial position, bolstered by better-than-expected investment income. We can keep rates stable ensuring predictability and affordability for customers with the success of our Enhanced Care insurance model. Basic rates will be maintained until March 31, 2026, marking six years in a row with no increases. Get more information on our website: https://bit.ly/3US8dsW #ICBC #ICBCRebates

I wish the province would direct ICBC to revisit the option of general insurance coverage for residential customers in BC. It would be worthwhile in my view.
