In this conversation with Axios, IBMer Rob Thomas shares how InstructLab and releasing Granite foundation models to the open-source community helps pave the way for responsible AI.
Open-source is a type of AI involving humans working together. The future of programming is open-source, sharing knowledge with everyone.
Customizable models allow businesses to tailor AI solutions specifically to their unique needs, resulting in more accurate and relevant outcomes. It means companies can adapt AI tools to fit their particular workflows and data, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Exciting developments in #AI with customizable models and transparent data! This approach will undoubtedly elevate business performance. Kudos to IBMer Ro for sharing these groundbreaking insights with Axios!
IBM’s latest advancements in AI are impressive. Innovation like this sets new standards and drives our industry forward.
Let's hope no bad actors interject malcode into the open source LLMs as well as nefarious people using these open source tools in bad ways.

3moI think that is a good idea. Let the world drive innovation and advance it towards the future. Of course the SLAI (Self learning AI) should be incorporated to learn real world skills and problem solving. I built my own, but first it has a long process of learning from all the other AI sources out there, who knows how that will take alone.
