To support our evolved U.K. Retail and U.K. On-Trade strategies, we are now recruiting for the role of Head of U.K. Sales (Speciality). Reporting to our U.K. Commercial Director, and managing a small team of regional sales managers, we are looking for an experienced whisky, spirits, and U.K. sales expert to lead our U.K. speciality retail channel and assigned speciality retail team. The role will suit someone who is already a highly commercial and innovative premium-prestige retail expert, with considerable whisky knowledge, and the proven ability to foster and develop customer relationships. This role will be accountable for delivering continued and profitable U.K. distribution growth of our Fine & Rare portfolio, our Single Cask programme, as well as our core range of whiskies. There will also be responsibility for growing Fine & Rare operators who have a multi-channel approach, as well as targeting high-net-worth-individuals. Alongside all of the above, we are looking for someone who is curious, accountable and proactive, being able to continuously improve and seek out more effective and efficient ways-of-working, all with the ability to embrace and adapt to change. We’re delighted to announce that we have now officially unveiled The Dedication Collection and and are proud to introduce our Tamdhu 43-Years-Old, one of the oldest, rarest and most exclusive whiskies ever crafted by the distillery. Aged in Tamdhu’s extraordinary and famed Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from beginning to end, the 43-Years-Old is an expression of our dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Exclusively made with water from Tamdhu’s own natural spring and matured for more than four decades on Speyside, it showcases a Tamdhu never seen or tasted before, with an intensified character, flavour and distinctive dark amber colour the spirit is renowned for. Tamdhu 43-Years-Old has matured in not one but three exceptional sherry oak casks, with the sherry oak breathing, and the spirit taking on its unique character with every passing year. The whisky is non-chill filtered to enhance the completely natural and rich colour of Tamdhu’s award-winning whisky. On the nose, the single malt offers rich sherry, treacle toffee, dried coriander, berries, citrus and dried spice. The first sip reveals deep sherry, orange, blackcurrant, molasses, chocolate coconut and hints of coffee on the palate, followed by a long sherry oak finish, with hints of lemon and dried berries. Presented in a hand-crafted, octagonal, wooden and classic brushed metal box, in a bespoke hand-blown crystal Victorian style decanter, the individually numbered bottles perfectly reflect the deep amber colour of Tamdhu whisky. With only 100 individually numbered bespoke decanter available, the Tamdhu 43-Years-Old includes a personal invitation to each owner from Sandy McIntyre (Distillery Manager) to an exclusive stay at the closed-to-public Tamdhu distillery and enjoy a host of amazing whiskies with him, as well as the opportunity to explore the traditional dunnage warehouses for more of the rarest and oldest casks that may well become the next additions to the Dedication Collection. Our Business Development Manager role a senior level commercial sales and brand leadership role, working directly with our third party distribution partners to continue to build knowledge of our exquisite brands, whilst supporting in-market distribution growth and execution of our exciting brand plans and overall portfolio. We are looking for a self-motivated, hungry, self-starter. Someone who also has a proven track record of exceptional results within the whisky and spirits industry. In addition, combine the above with breadth and depth of knowledge and experience of Southern European and Nordic markets. A proven ability to build and maintain value add relationships, with an aptitude for brand building and selling through distributor arrangements, will all be key to the overall success of this role. Individuals also need to be extremely comfortable working at pace, with agility and with flexibility, all in a curious, accountable and proactive manner.
