Spill the Facts: In the world of higher education, the crunch for space is real. For every 6 students pursuing higher education, there's just 1 hostel bed available. This stark ratio isn't just a number—it's a reflection of the challenge many students face in securing a spot in on-campus accommodation. Habiiito is set on changing this narrative. We are here to tip the scales in favor of students, ensuring that quality living spaces keep up with the growing demand. Our mission is to create accessible, comfortable, and tech-equipped living quarters for every student who steps through the university gates. This is more than a commitment. It's our pledge to the future of education. 📞 91 98111 62641 📧 [email protected] #Habiiito #EducationalEquity #HostelCrisis #HigherEducation #StudentWellbeing #AccommodationSolutions

The shortage of student beds is a reality in Italy as never before, as highlighted by this comprehensive article https://lnkd.in/dAZCbimC by Corriere della Sera, which among the new accommodations includes also the brand new Joivy student residences in Rome and Milan. Unfortunately, all the solutions fielded to date by public and private operators are not enough to cover the demand, as our infographic below clearly shows. William Maggio, chairman at Joivy, adds: “We expect the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) to give a boost and lead to an increase in the availability of affordable and qualitative accommodation for students. It aims to create new student beds in Italy by June 2026, focusing not only on major Italian cities but also on secondary cities experiencing rising student demand. At this historic moment, collaboration between public and private operators is crucial in order to jointly tackle this real emergency, and Joivy is at the forefront in providing solutions, and doing so very quickly." #JoivyVoices #enjoyliving

RESEARCH | Australia remains one of the most popular destinations in the world for tertiary students. The number of international enrolments neared a million students in 2023. This accelerating pace of student inflows is adding significantly to housing demand, particularly for purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) facilities within major capital cities and around top-tier tertiary education hubs. While student numbers may change for cyclical or policy reasons in 2025, the persistent undersupply of suitable housing remains in place. Hear more from our Head of Research Bruce Wan in the video below and his full research report on our website.
