๐ตโ๏ธ To develop a low-cost, concentrated thermal and photovoltaic #cogeneration #system that increases the systemโs electrical efficiency. โช๏ธ This is the aim of the Economic COgeneration by Efficiently COncentrated SUNlight (#ECOSUN) project, in which the Heat and Mass Transfer Technology Center (CTTC - UPC | Universitat Politรจcnica de Catalunya - Centre Tecnolรฒgic de Transferรจncia de Calor) at the Universitat Politรจcnica de Catalunya has participated. The new system reduces the absorption temperature of solar radiation by utilising the residual heat obtained from cooling the photovoltaic modules, to meet the thermal needs for heating or cooling through an absorption machine.
