Flashing back to 1916, the first Pikes Peak International Hill Climb was held, with the race winner finishing the climb in 20.55.600. Fast forward to 2024 and we're looking to conquer the mountain, only this time – a lot faster. Let's meet our drivers in this year’s Race to the Clouds. Ron Zaras, you may know him from his 14 years working with Ken Block and Hoonigan or his rally driving. And now, he’s making his Pikes Peak debut in the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N production car with the production electric SUV/Crossover record in his sights. Joining him in 2 specially equipped IONIQ 5 N TA (Time Attack) Spec Hyundais are Spanish World Rally Champion, Dani Sordo and the 2021 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner, 2-time 24 Hours of Daytona winner Randy Pobst. 1993 record holder and 6-time PPIHC winner, Paul Dallenbach, won't be driving this weekend as scheduled, but he will be in attendance and supporting all of our Hyundai drivers. Best of luck to our drivers! 🏁
Best of luck!
