We were proud to showcase our groundbreaking project, Digital Loop, at IAA MOBILITY in Munich. Digital Loop is a revolutionizing software homologation for vehicles, and the response has been incredible. We have engaged in several productive meetings with customers and partners in just five days, highlighting strong market interest among OEMs and suppliers. TÜV SÜD maintains a laudable reputation as a neutral organization that acts as an interconnector for automotive stakeholders, ensuring balance, and prioritizing the safety of humans and the environment. Nevertheless, the future of homologation is almost necessarily collaborative, requiring for instance, the pooling of testing and scenario-based resources and the sharing of sensitive and typically private information across stakeholders. New value chains are emerging in EV world.. This is an era of COOPETITION.. While Hyundai recently launched an EV platform competing with VW.. Hyundai MOBIS becomes supplier to VW for their platform… While VW or Hyundai will compete with other Auto OEMs.. they will also be the supplier of platform for those vehicles.. achieving overall efficiency and scale, in turn Customer will be the beneficiary. "Movement that Inspires" Two years ago I had the honor to present our first ever dedicated Kia electric vehicle, the Kia EV6 to the The Car of the Year Jury and what a game changer this car has become, being the first ever South Korean car to win this award! Earlier this year, it was on a rainy day at Circuit Jules Tacheny in Belgium, we were presenting the second generation of our electrified only Kia Niro to the same Jury as one of the seven finalists. Personally, I still believe in a strong field of competitors, the Niro family offered, and continues to offer the best possible fit in terms of electrified mobility regardless where in Europe by providing customers the choice between Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and Full Electric. After yesterday's shortlist announcement, I am very much looking forward to present an electrified Kia model for the third consecutive year to the COTY Jury early 2024. The EV9, our second dedicated EV off our e-GMP platform, follows in the footsteps of the award winning EV6, the 2022 Car of the Year, supporting our ambition to establish ourselves as a leading EV brand in the European market in our quest to become a sustainable mobility solutions provider! All this would not have been possible thanks to great teams within Kia Worldwide, Kia Europe as well as Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH working effortlessly on our quest towards sustainable mobility, even by entering segments where people might not expect us. I really think that the potential of #aftersales is underestimated in vehicles. And: Aftersales contributes to sustainability by modernization of the “old” platform, keeping it longer up to date. Thanks to Dominik Jung I recently got insight about the customer knowledge and customer insights that is available from modern cars. I think we will do more research for aftersales in the future, improving brand-loyalty, user interaction and UX.

Great Concept! For all the talk about the importance of after market sales Xiaomi Technology shows up the automotive industry with a more innovative way to update your interior. No subscription packages that feel like a rip off! Hardware that you can buy and install yourself! The physical button bar, I 100% love! I'd skip the light bars on either side, but I know how many people will love it. The system is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 in-car chip that connects with what makes the Xiaomi SU7 particularly intriguing! Its integration into Xiaomi's "Human x Car x Home" smart ecosystem. This ecosystem represents a visionary leap in connectivity, merging personal devices, smart home products, and automobiles into a cohesive network. The SU7 is not just a car; it's a central hub that connects and communicates with the broader Xiaomi ecosystem, offering an intelligent, adaptive, and highly personalized experience. This integration signifies a future where your car is as much a part of your digital life as your smartphone or smart home devices. Automotive OEMs can't offer this, Xiaomi is a global leader at ecosystem creation and they've been doing it for well over a decade! I wasn't that impressed with the SU7 until I saw this video. They get it!
