For those of you applying to The Drum Awards, here are some tips for an effective entry: -Ensure your articulation/definition of the problem statement is clear. -Showcase clearly how the idea & execution ladders up into the problem statement. A great idea helps, but does it truly solve for a business need? -The idea & execution is only 50% of your success. Give equal weightage to showcasing how the work translated into genuine impact.

Year 2 of spearheading the American Advertising Awards for AAF Black Hills and I am SO excited to see what our local creatives enter into our competition this year! 🙌 Have you been thinking about submitting your work? Let me clear a few things up: 1. You don't have to be from the Black Hills to participate! The rules allow entries to be submitted to the nearest Ad Awards, which means that entries from neighboring regions like Wyoming are welcome to join us. So, don't hesitate to participate! 2. Our judging process isn't about categories; it's all about the quality. Each submission is evaluated based on specific criteria and scored from 40 to 100. The highest scores earn those coveted gold and silver ADDYs. 3. You don't need to be part of an agency to enter. If you're a freelancer or part of an internal marketing team and you've crafted something you're proud of, we want to see it!
