Since then, they have been embedded in national and international laws and regulations on the use of animals in scientific procedures. The tissue models are produced from primary human cells by tissue engineering technology to model highly relevant and predictive human biology. Sebastian Werner indeed a great initiative. However, there is too much resistance. Also, as a toxicology risk assessor, the results are so contrasting that does not give a toxicologist confidence to base a conclusion. If that gap can be bridged, then would be great. The majority times the results are so contrasting...
