💧The paradigm of “green or blue” #hydrogen has limited our imagination – and our options. In our recent #H2EQuarterly edition, we take a look at the #LowCarbon Hydrogen Delegated Act which will set CO2 emission limits for #hydrogenproduction, ensuring that only truly ‘low-carbon’ methods receive funding and permitting support. 💡 We are in a position to produce hydrogen and its derivatives for all the hard-to-abate sectors, and to support #electrification in selected sectors in the interest of #systemresilience. Waste-to-hydrogen technologies can also contribute at scale to the #decarbonisation mission and to the upscale of the #hydrogenmarket. 🌿 Clear and robust definitions of low-carbon hydrogen will encourage various production pathways while maintaining the primary goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this lead story article: ➡ Sundus Cordelia Ramli, CCO Power-to-X of Topsoe, emphasizes the importance of proactive #investment to avoid future #renewableenergy bottlenecks. ➡ Andy Gradel, Managing Director at BtX energy GmbH, stresses the huge potential of hydrogen production from #biowaste.
