As most people’s work week draws to a close, the most exciting part of mine is just starting! Got all the gear ready to join EcoVend at the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix tomorrow and Sunday! For this weekend only, we’re taking on new job roles to get into the F1 spirit…but im petitioning to make ‘Head of Race Strategy’ my new permanent title. Here’s where I think Marketing Managers and Race Strategists overlap: ✅ We have to react to changing conditions on the fly, often completely rewriting the strategy at a moments notice. 📈 Data analysis is at the heart of what we do, but at some point we’ve got to trust our gut to make the right decision. 🧠 We need to to know the business and the strategy inside and out, to make the right decisions ✅We’re tasked with finding the solution, but are also quickly placed in the hot seat if things don’t go to plan. …and of course the shared passion for making sure our team/business is at the top of our game, making the most of opportunities and navigating tricky circumstances. Remember that every race is a chance to learn, grow, and showcase your skills, talents abilities. Celebrate the victories, the things you did well, no matter how small. Also, embrace the challenges…those things you learned you need to improve or do differently. As those are things that are the fast track to your improvement and success. Every apex, every exit, every 10th improved, contributes to your evolution as a driver or rider. What did you do well? & What can you improve…? Be the racer you want to be. Stay focused, stay determined, and keep learning, applying and developing.

🎉 I can't believe its been SIX MONTHS! 🎉 Time flies when you're having a blast and making things happen! 🚀 Last week marked my sixth month as Operations Manager here at Arc Elevators Ltd & what an incredible journey it has been so far. From day one, the team & the challenges have kept me on my toes.. and I've loved every moment of it.
