SECURED INVESTMENT IN BIG SCALE LONG DURATION ENERGY STORAGE We are pleased to announce that The Heat Vault Company (https://lnkd.in/e78KvYW7) has reached its target to secure funds for build of a showcase site in western Sweden in its crowdfunding campaign. This ensures that members of the public are co-owners of the company. The showcase will allow others to visit and learn how the Heat Vault works. The next step will be full commercial build under an agreement already reached with a municipal heating network company in Eastern Sweden. There are 500 such companies in Sweden and 6,000 in EU. 🌟 Dive Deeper into Hydrogen Sector Finance updates! 🚀 🎉March has been an eventful month so far for Hydrogen Financing: 1️⃣ On March 5th, Matrix Gas & Renewables Limited has raised circa 39M€ (Rs 350 crore) in a pre IPO round. Matrix claims to be India’s fastest-growing green hydrogen infrastructure developer and natural gas aggregator. It is part of the Gensol Group, a BSE-listed engineering solutions provider. 2️⃣ On March 4th, Sunfire announced a EUR 215 million Series E financing round, complemented by a term loan of up to EUR 100 million provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB). New investors include LGT Private Banking, GIC, and Carbon Equity, while existing shareholders as Lightrock, Planet First Partners, the Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, have followed up. 3️⃣ On March 5th, Trinity Capital announced the commitment of $50 million in equipment financing to Electric Hydrogen, one of the leading American PEM electrolysers manufacturers. In 2023, Electric Hydrogen completed a Series C equity raise of $380 million, bringing the total capital raised by the company to more than $600 million. 4️⃣ On March 8th, Yara Growth Ventures made a strategic investment in Dynelectro, a leader in solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) technology. Dynelectro's innovative approach not only extends the lifespan of SOE systems but also facilitates seamless integration with intermittent renewable energy sources. 5️⃣ March 11th UK-based Suiso Limited raised £3 million to propel the development of its patented microwave-driven methane pyrolysis process.
