STARTUPS THAT FAIL ARE RISING. But that’s not a bad thing… not at all. When you look at this graph, it looks like more and more startups are failing every year. (Which is true) However, this graph is biased. It doesn’t take into account the fact that so many more startups have been created in the last few years. Entrepreneurship is RISING, the failure rate has stayed the same. More entrepreneurs is a good thing. Whilst it may bring more competition, do remember that “iron sharpens iron” and that both will get better in a competition. If there is no competition, it’s worse for the consumer, and as much as every business owner wants a full monopoly, we all must appreciate that a bigger community, more mentors and more funding will be better for us in the long run, even if there is more competition and failures.
